(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Tuesday, Mayor Muriel Bowser will deliver remarks at the High-Demand Career Symposium during the Millennial Week Hiring Fair at Arena Stage. As a sponsor of the Millennial Week Hiring Fair, the DC Workforce Investment Council (WIC) created the Symposium with the intention of highlighting the District’s high-demand careers and jobs in business administration, information technology, construction, healthcare, hospitality, and security and law enforcement. During the event, business leaders from each sector will provide an overview of the industry, minimum requirements for entry-level positions, projected areas of growth, and how to apply for jobs, both within the trade and within their companies.
