Mayor Bowser to Lead Community Walk in Ward 6, Launch New DC Tree Watering Application

(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Monday, June 12, at 3 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will be joined by Administration officials to participate in a community walk in Ward 6. During the walk, the Mayor will address neighborhood concerns and hear from DC residents and business owners in the Waterfront neighborhood. 

As a part of the Back to Basics DC campaign, a celebration of the day-to-day work that keeps Washington, DC going, the Mayor will also launch DC Tree Watering Application – an app that can locate trees that need watering and maintenance care in all 8 wards. The app will also include a story map with information about the different types of trees found throughout Washington, DC.
