Mayor Bowser to Highlight Investments in Victim Services with Public Safety Press Conference

Washington, DC – On Monday, April 8, at 11:30 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will mark National Crime Victims’ Rights Week by holding a press conference to highlight investments in victim services and make several public safety announcements.

Mayor Bowser’s Fiscal Year 2020 budget invests $1.6 million in neighborhood-based trauma-informed care sites to provide residents impacted by violence with the support and services necessary to heal individually and collectively.
