(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Thursday, June 22, at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will announce new solutions to decrease the rodent population across Washington, DC, including innovative solar trash can and smart litter bin initiatives, and the Waste Compactor Grant Program, which will allow up to 60 local businesses to buy or lease trash compactors for bulk trash, waste, and recyclables.
