Participating Agencies

The Office of Community Relations and Services works with 18 DC government agencies, DC Public Schools, the Office of Tax and Revenue and the United States Attorney's Office to find permanent cures for persistent problems in neighborhoods throughout the city. Each participating agency designates a representative to serve on Ward Core Teams that provide the government services that are needed in the ward. The teams meet weekly to monitor the success of the team's efforts. In order to address issues that require coordination at a higher level within agencies, each participating agency appoints members to the Neighborhood Services Leadership Team.

Members of the Leadership Team are Deputy Directors or senior managers within the agency who work with the Office of Community Relations and Services, the Office of the City Administrator and senior officials from other agencies to develop policy and strategy for Neighborhood Services, to designate agency resources, and to address complex or District-wide problems that require support from senior agency managers.
